Why Build Hyperstructures
The main misconception with hyperstructures is that they are ends within themselves, when in reality they are means to an end.
By this, we mean that hyperstructures are meant to be built in a specific way so that people adopt them, and then more non-hyperstructure protocols can be built on top of them.
Sometimes, hyperstructures are also called base plate protocols - referring to the base plate that underpins a Lego set. Except our Legos are all the DeFi protocols on Sui, including those we have yet to build ourselves.
Hop's Trade Aggregator product is the core of the Hop ecosystem, which will be intricately linked to the rest of the features, tooling, and additional protocols that will be built on top of it very soon. Our product is not 100% decentralized, but it is designed to be a free public good, optimized for usability and speed.
